The Never Forget Saga

The Never Forget Saga will cover 100 years, telling the stories of two women whose lives are linked, but are often driven apart in conflict. So far Three books have been published in the saga;

Book one – Never Forget

When two women set sail on the Titanic, their lives will become inextricably linked forever.  A terrible crime is committed amongst the chaos and heartbreak, and a whole saga begins…..

 

 

 

 

 

Book Two – The Exciting Life

Set in the late 1950s, The Exciting Life tells the tale of two women, Annie Holland and Iris Lindholm. Great nieces of the great Alice Higgins – Titanic survivor and famous actress. Annie is the spoilt adopted daughter of Nesta Villiers, the woman who stole Alice’s baby on the Titanic as it sank. Iris is the half-sister Annie never knew about.  Embittered by her upbringing by her prostitute mother, Iris vows revenge on the sister she feels has been given everything, thus setting off a chain of events that will reverberate throughout generations.

 

 

 

Book Three – Never Tear Us Apart

Set one year on from The Exciting Life. Annie and Iris are wives and mothers, and their hatred burns as strong as ever. Both eager to make it in the fashion industry, the will stop at nothing to make their way in a male world. Annie realises the man she married isn’t necessarily the one she loves, and a doomed affair causes Iris to make a life-changing mistake that risks her blowing her whole world apart.

 

 

 

Book Four – The Lucky Ones – released Autumn 2013

Ellie and Viva, Annie and Iris’s daughters are now eighteen years old and determined to step out of the shadows of their successful mothers. Viva is headstrong and reckless and when she comes to London, her life changes forever. Ellie is determined to be a force in the music industry. When the two girls meet for the first time, like the generations before them, their lives will never be the same again.

Now Released! Never Tear Us Apart

The sequel to The Exciting Life and the next instalment of the Never Forget saga. It is now 1960 and Annie Holland and Iris Lindholm are determined to make their mark in the world of fashion. But the sisters remain deadly enemies, and while Iris makes a success of her fashion house, she struggles with the pressures of motherhood and married life – realising she has let the love of her life slip through her fingers. Annie finds herself in a rut, married to a man who expects her to sacrifice her career but gives her little in return.

A dramatic turn of events means that Annie finds herself suddenly alone, having to cope with her baby daughter and trying to rebuild her shoe business. Iris’s career goes from strength to strength, but her personal life is in tatters – with her seedy past always threatening to come back and ruin everything she has achieved.

In the space of a few short years, the lives of these young women will change forever – with their rivalry forming a backdrop to everything they do. Will Annie ever find true love? Can Iris escape her past? And will they ever put their differences aside and learn to get along?

New Phillipa Hardcastle title revealed and other stuff!

After months of calling the new Phillipa Hardcastle mystery ‘Rent’. I can reveal that the new mystery to be released this summer will be entitled Teenage Kicks, where Phillipa finds herself embroiled in the investigation of a series of murders of popular DJs.

Never Tear Us Apart, the next instalment of the Never Forget saga will be released in the Spring and the cover to this will be revealed soon.

The Exciting Life is now released and free to download from Smashwords. It is also available on Amazon (US) and (UK) but is not free at the present time. Updates will be given as soon as it is availabe on other channels.
