Rio Final Final 4Book six of the Never Forget saga….

Sisters Angel and Rio are growing up fast. Angel is the spoilt stage school brat who is part of a chart topping pop act, but longs for credibility. Rio is trying to forge her own way in the world, working for her film star aunt, Morgan, as a nanny, and trying to avoid the wandering hands of Morgan’s husband.

Rio escapes to London, and Angel is not pleased to see her. Ellie, her mother, is delighted to see Rio, and angers Angel when she gives her a job at Titan Records. At the same time, Angel decides to reinvent herself as a rock singer, succumbing to all the temptations that go with the territory. Rio fits into London life, finding love and stability for the first time. But when the worst terrorist event in living memory occurs, her seemingly happy life is torn to pieces.

With their lives littered with addictions, heartache and disappointment, will the estranged sisters ever put their differences aside, or will their dislike for one another turn into a deadly game of revenge?

I can today announce that the title for Book Six in the Never Forget saga is going to be……. ‘Better the Devil You Know’.

I’m not giving much away, except that it is now 1999 and Angel and Rio are headstrong teenagers who are determined to make their own way in the world.

Release date to be announced in the near future…

Ta Dah!!

August 12, 2014

As you know, this Saturday (16th) not only marks my birthday, it is also the day that Summerset and Winner Takes it All go out of publication. Thank you to everyone who has downloaded and enjoyed these two books over the past six years. But, even though it’s my birthday, I’m giving you all a present. My new freebie to replace Winner Takes it All is going to be………..Paradise Lost.

As usual, the book will only be free on Barnes and Noble, iTunes, Kobo and Sony, as Amazon refuse to play ball. In case you haven’t read it. This is what Paradise Lost is all about.

I’m not one to blow my own trumpet but I wanted to share my news that I was indeed a runner up in the Good Housekeeping Novel Writing Competition. Readers familiar with my books will not be surprised to know that Never Forget was the one that scooped the prize and being named a ‘Writer to Watch’ is certainly an accolade! Click the link below to see the page and check out my fellow Writers to Watch.

An Announcement

June 14, 2014

New Lou Final Final 1After much consideration and a lot of soul searching, I can announce that from my birthday – Saturday 16th August, I will be withdrawing Summerset and Winner Takes it All from publication. Summerset has become a separate project for me, and I no longer want it in the public domain. In the place of Winner Takes it All, I will be making one of my other books free – more information on this nearer the time.

So, for the next few weeks, Summerset will be free on Smashwords and eventually Barnes and Noble, iTunes etc. Unfortunately I cannot make it free on Amazon as they control the pricing.

Thank you to all the people who have bought and enjoyed Summerset and I’m sure you will see it again in some form soon enough.
